9th Annual Road Race
The annual Merrickville Heritage Classic is an annual favourite with cool medals designed and manufactured right here in Merrickville by Alloy Foundry Company Ltd (the Village Metalsmiths).
The vibe is a friendly, fun atmosphere in our beautiful village located on the UNESCO World Heritage Rideau Canal. It’s the perfect opportunity to catch up with old running friends and make new ones!

Location: Merrickville Community Centre, 106 Read Street, Merrickville, Ontario
Start Time: 8:00 am
Race kit pick-up: Friday, April 26, 2024 5:00 – 8:00 pm; Saturday 6:30 – 7:30 am
Early Bird Pricing: Register now and save on early bird pricing by February 29, 2024.
Please note:
Half-Marathon is virtual only.
Virtual Runs: Can’t make the live event? Register for the virtual 2K, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon
Run Time Limit (for the in-person 2K/5K/10K): The course time limit for all routes is 3 hours from the start at 8:00 am. Due to traffic control and safety, participants will need to move off the travelled portion of the road by 11:00 am and obey all traffic rules.
Refunds: We all know life gets busy and plans change. Unfortunately, there are no refunds, but the good news is you can transfer your registration to another person and event (2K, 5K, 10K)

Merrickville Public School Donation
Run Merrickville is proud to be able to donate $1000 to Merrickville Public School towards their week long JungleSport program. Students were able to swing, crawl and climb using balance, flexibility and strength. Way to go students of MPS!

École Catholique Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys Donation
An early Christmas for the students at École Catholique Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys. Run Merrickville was able to donate $1000 towards the purchase of some "jouets pour la neiges" such as snowshoes, saucers and molds for making snow forts. The students will surely...
