Time to mark your calendars and register early to secure your spot for Saturday April 25, 2026. Early Bird registration is now open until February 28, 2026.

Merrickville Heritage Classic is an annual vibrant spring road race nestled in the heart of our beautiful village located on the UNESCO World Heritage Rideau Canal! It’s the perfect spot to reconnect with old run/walk/stroll buddies and make new friends. Get ready for fun, laughter,and unforgettable moments. Let’s hit the trails and create some amazing memories together!

Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026

Location: Merrickville Community Centre, 106 Read Street, Merrickville, Ontario

Start Time: 8:00 am

Race kit pick-up: Friday, April 24, 2025, 4:30 – 7:00 pm; Saturday 6:30 – 7:30 am

Registration fees for Children 12 years and under:

         • Blockhouse Run (2K): $15.00 flat rate

         • New rate!! Canal Run (5K): $20.00 flat rate

         • New rate!! Jewel of the Rideau Run (10K): $25.00 flat rate

         ** No discount applied to Virtual Runs **

Please note:

T-Shirts: Included in Registration Fee for 5K and 10K in-person registrants ONLY. T-Shirts are available for purchase for 2K runners

Awards:

          • Medals for all in-person and virtual participants

          • Gold/Silver/Bronze medals for Male/Female 5k, 10k

          • Team Spirit Award

          • Personal Achievement Award

Virtual Runs: Can’t make the live event? Register for the virtual 2K, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon

Run Time Limit (for the in-person 2K/5K/10K): The course time limit for all routes is 3 hours from the start at 8:00 am. Due to traffic control and safety, participants will need to move off the travelled portion of the road by 11:00 am and obey all traffic rules.

Refunds: We all know life gets busy and plans change. Unfortunately, there are no refunds, but the good news is you can transfer your registration to another person and event (2K, 5K, 10K)
