Update regarding the event status of the Merrickville Heritage Classic scheduled for April 25, 2020:
As we see the sporting world and large group venue events taking precautionary steps in relation to the COVID-19 situation, we wanted to touch base with our participants regarding the current event status of the Merrickville Heritage Classic.
In cooperation with our event organizers and our partners, we continue to monitor the updates from Health Canada and Public Health Ontario of COVID-19 as it pertains to the health and safety of you, the participant, our volunteers, race crew, and the various communities in which we host events.
With just weeks before our scheduled event, we currently have no plans to cancel. There may be modifications to the event as it is run traditionally, but we will keep everyone (not just those who are registered) apprised as information becomes available to us and as we tackle modification strategies.
